The scrap saturday guys had Gay and his ways down to a "T". First thought was did RTE search for an example of Uncle Gaybo at his most patronisg, but then I remembered that no, this was jt an example of an ordary GB Show. I've been tryg for years to obta a py of the origal (not the RTE Orchtra versn) theme mic om The Gay Byrne Show.
I double checked wh RTE on a number of ocsns and even spoke to Gay Byrne himself recently about (a very nice man I mt say) & they still mata that this is the rrect tle of the tune spe me havg a 45 sgle which isn't . I have to say, I absolutely loved and Gay as a broadster. If only Gaybo wasn't so patronisg, he'd be perfectn.
For all his irratg ltle flts, Gaybo was a great chatshow host. Hello, this is Dermot O'Reilly (the voice of Gay Byrne on Scrap Saturday the 90's) I do have the full length rerdg of Ti's Tune.
