Carols Gay, 26, was sent to Dorothea Dix Hospal Raleigh for psychiatric evaluatn on Nov. 13, the day after he was charged wh suffotg Elishia Shadaish Gay. Gay was at Dix for evaluatn, but after District Court Judge Jeffery Moore's lg, Gay was voluntarily mted for psychiatric treatment for an untermed amount of time, acrdg to Gay's public fenr, Ang Thompson.
Gay suffers om a severe mental illns and is need of immediate medil treatment, the urt orr said.
