After a long travel outer space, HELLA GAY returns to 1928 Telegrpah ave. Hella Gay was already a pretty happeng party when moved to Oakland’s Uptown Nightclub Augt. Hae Yong M is a Korean-born artist who dreamed up “Hella Gay” as a fancy birthday party for her iend Gigi Alicea (aka DJ G Star).
She learned her craft unr the spic of Mellanique Robichex (aka DJ Black), who me to Hella Gay first as a celebry gut and later as a -nspirator. In Augt, 400 people showed up at Hella Gay.

After a long two-year hiat, the crew is “back om outer space” at CryBaby, the new club that opened the former Uptown space, wh sets by DJs Homo Fongo, ELEDA, and Kare Bear. Uptown, Nightlife, Gay Bars, Bars. The Hella Gay Dance party tak place every third Saturday of the month at The Uptown Nightclub.
Fans of Hella Vegan Eats, a favore for eaters seekg fort food the East Bay, will be happy to know that a new eratn of that rtrant has opened up Oakland as Gay 4 U. Sofi Espice, formerly known as Silvi Peligras, is nng Gay 4 U at Garn Hoe which also hosts Japane ied chicken and izakaya rtrant Aburaya-Go for weekday lunch. Fally late October, Gay 4 U was born.
