How did you go about foundg Gay’s Okay and why was important for you to do so?

Six years ago I started my project Gay’s Okay, makg ps and other lorful accsori, wh the exprs goal to energize and uplift LGBTQIA+ cyclists our muny, to take up space and change the popular image of cyclg to one that is more clive. All proceeds om the Gay’s Okay Collectn — up to $20, 000 — will go directly to Outright Internatnal, a global anizatn dited to upliftg and supportg LGBTQIA+ liv. This is the third year Gay’s Okay has llaborated wh Chrome — what ntu to exce you about workg wh the brand?
A few years after havg started my LGBTQIA+ Cyclg p brand Gay’s Okay back 2017, I reached out to the Chrome team via mutual nnectns to ask what they might thk about llaboratg on somethg together. For many years, as part of my Gay’s Okay project, I have worked wh Outright Internatnal to donate profs to support the work they do. They are able to highlight very specific suatns and stggl while also havg a broad spe that is clive of everyone worldwi, jt what I hope to also reflect wh Gay’s Okay.
What has been like watchg Gay’s Okay evolve over the years? There are a variety of ways to show up whether you’re fundg the work through donatns, volunteerg for lol anizatns your muny, beg vol about your support for LGBTQIA+ rights — which is why I started Gay’s Okay the first place — and even checkg wh your LGBTQIA+ iends and fay. Gay’s Okay is a small brand om Denmark that promot an clive LGBTQ2S+ cyclg muny, and that we are all here to celebrate our diversy by changg negative and opprsive attu.
