But amid all the faiar anchise stapl, there was a new reason to rejoice: overt queer reprentatn the form of <a href=">Jasm Savoy Brown’s character Mdy</a>.</p><p>The <em>Scream</em> anchise has always had an unniable queer prence. The origal screenwrer and creator, Kev Williamson is openly gay and has talked openly about the films beg <a href=" target="_blank">“d gay survival.”</a> LGBTQ+ fans have long harbored an obssn wh <a href=">Gale Weathers’ style</a> — and we’ve been lighted by all the meos om queer ins like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Parker Posey, and the late, great Carrie Fisher. So is Brown, and her character Mdy Meeks-Mart is one of several teenage newers who serve as a narrative entry pot for any <em>Scream</em> virgs out there.
