DOVER — Three years after the murr of 22-year-old Ryan Stewart Farmgton, Christopher Gay and Cory Bent were sentenced to prison for send-gree murr and nspiracy to m, who was found guilty last fall of fatally stabbg Stewart, durg a home vasn on Jan. Bent, who had ma a plea agreement wh the state exchange for his ttimony at Gay’s trial, was orred to serve 30 years to life prison for his role the ’s fense attorneys say they plan to appeal the sentence. Speakg at Gay’s sentencg hearg at Strafford County Superr Court, Stewart’s mother Joanne Gagnon remembered her son’s passn, huy, and pth of character.
”Stewart’s grandmother Joan Gagnon said that murrg Stewart, Gay had taken away a son, a brother, and a grandson.
“Ryan is now gone and you’re here, ” Joan said to Gay.
