Meanwhile, 1980, the Sttish Homosexual Rights Group bought a premis at Queen’s Crcent to form a licenced Gay Club. Wh a fé and functn sue, was succsful for some time, but uld not pete wh other new gay venu which had recently e on the scene Glasgow. The Court Bar on Hutchon Street (which shut 2015) would "turn gay" at 8pm om the mid 1980s onwards, wherpon is said that not only the staff changed, but an alternative and higher price list was fetched om unr the unter and affixed to the wall.
