The text reads as follows:‘There is no shortage of advice offered to people who thk that they are homosexual – om iends, ‘help agenci’, parents, doctors, and clergy – but unfortunately most of is bad advice, often a rult of ignorance or prejudice. People our society are generally prejudiced agast homosexuals and srn their sexualy.
As a nsequence of this many gay people are forced to hi their sexualy and suffer tratn and lonels as a rult. The kd of ‘help’ and ‘advice’ which most people offer to the person who realis that they are gay is only likely to succeed makg them more sperate and unhappy. We feel gay people need practil advice om people who unrstand what they have to go through – other words, om other gay people.
