Hammamet seems to be gay iendly. I was taken to the robar by a gay tunisian and told by another that is a gay bar, bee of other women beg there i wasn't too sure. If there is anythg there the Gay area, would you please post here?

My bf and I will be gog to Hammamet om Augt 14th - 're no scene queens, but would be kewl to go to a gay hangout some time durg our stay... I did not fg any gay bars but the Havanna Bar was ol and I did have a good time anyway. Strangely the Dis our hotel ( Le Hammamet Hotel) was packed wh Tunisian Men all Dancg wh each other (very closely and looked very gay) and I got more attentn that my iend Vicky did!!

I was nvced some n that was gay but maybe that was bee I was dnk, at one stage the dance floor was full of only Men!! It is very siar to Indian and Mlim culture, as homosexualy is illegal and often seen not to exist - therefore the men are very affectnate wh each other as is seen as 'safe' i. They uldn't possible be gay as is impossible and/or illegal.

There has been a very long tradn of gay travellers visg North Ai and certaly Tunisia. Ined I have this week returned om Sose and if not for the gay tourists my hotel would have been almost serted. The ma fe Tunis where a few gays and admirg 'rent boys' hang out is Cafe Paris Avenue Bourguiba.

No offence as i am liberal md, but i dt unrstand this gay life stuff. If i me on here sayg i am lookg for a straight bar, i would be lled homophobic etc. As beg gay is sexual preference, when i see posts seekg out other gays you n only draw one ncln.

Its not a very nice place for gay travellers and the only gayboys you will fd there are for sale. We love to travel adn explore so wee aren't too worried about any gay bars adn stuff but if anyone has any ments for would be greatly appreciated. Didn, t fd particularly gay though!
