HOW TO CHAT SAFELY ON INTERACTIVE MALE GAY PHONE CHAT

The aim of this study was to vtigate whether there was a relatnship between the e of gay apps and HIV fectn and provi a targeted terventn to MSM. Che MSM who were over 18 years old and had self-reported homosexual terurse the past six months were terviewed 2016. 0% reported havg ed gay apps to seek sexual partners the past six months.

A higher proportn of the gay app ers were younger than 19 years old, sgle, had high school tn, were earng ls than 115 GBP e per month, and intified themselv as homosexual. It is suggted that the e of gay apps, pecially Blued, is popular among Che MSM and is associated wh high-risk sexual behavrs and HIV fectn. Group sex participants have been shown to have an creased risk of dg e [6], ndomls sex [7], and multiple sexual partners [8] the dramatic crease age of gay apps among MSM Cha, regnizg s potential rrelatn wh group sex is important, pecially sce Che gay app ers tend to have more partners [2] and may th tend to have group sex.

Given the limed rearch on relatnships between group sex and gay app e, particular gay app e patterns [9], more vtigatn is purpose of this study was to ga a better unrstandg of group sex among Che MSM by examg rrelat of group sex, particularly the rrelatn between group sex and gay app e. The survey was nducted on three different popular gay web portals Cha (Northern Cha:, Southern Cha:, and Eastern Cha:).

All participants were also asked about whether or not they had ed gay mobile applitns (gay app) to look for partners the last six months (y/no), what their sexual orientatn (gay or bisexual), whether they disclosed their sexual orientatn to others (y/no), and what their currently self-intified genr was (man or transgenr) addn, participants were asked qutns about whether or not they currently had a primary partner (y or no), what their sexual role ually was durg anal sex (sertive, acceptive or no preference), whether they ever had vagal or oral sex wh women (y/no), whether they had engaged group sex the last 12 months (y/no), whether they had engaged mercial sex the last 12 months (y/no), whether they had ndomls sex wh women the last three months (y or no), whether they had ndomls sex wh men the last three months(y/no), whether they ever drank alhol durg or prr to havg sex the last three months(y/no), whether they ever exchanged sex for gifts or money(y/no), whether they ever experienced timate partner abe(y/no), and whether they ever ed gay mobile applitns (gay app) to look for partners the last six months(y/no).
