Michael Lluber was middle school when he first enuntered the 1960s mil “The Fantasticks, ” and he immediately thought of Luisa, the young, ialistic girl who falls love wh the boy next door, as a gay boy.

While Lluber had always wanted to do a gay versn of “The Fantasticks, ” he thought would be impossible to get the rights, so he let go.
