Conflict-related sexual vlence (CRSV) agast women and girls has been the subject of creasg rearch and scholarship. Ls is known about the health of men, boys and lbian, gay, bisexual, transgenr (LGBT) and other genr non-bary persons who survive CRSV. This paper is the first systematic realist review on medil, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) terventns that focs on male and LGBT survivors of CRSV. The review explor the genr differenc ntext, mechanisms and out that unrp terventns addrsg the health and psychosocial wellbeg of male and LGBT survivors. The aim is to ntribute to the sign and livery of genr-sensive and, when need, genr-specific approach for terventns that rpond to specific needs of different groups of all survivors. We nducted a systematic search of amic and grey lerature to intify medil and MHPSS terventns that clud men, boys and LGBT survivors. We intified terventns specifilly targetg women and girls that we ed as parators. We then purposively sampled studi om the fields of genr and health, and sexual abe agast men and LGBT people for theory buildg and ttg. We intified 26 evaluatns of terventns for survivors of CRSV. Ne studi clud male survivors, twelve studi focsed exclively on female survivors and one study targeted children and adolcents. No terventn evaluatn focsed on LGBT survivors of CRSV. The terventns that clud male survivors did not scribe specific ponents for this populatn. Rults of terventn evaluatns that clud male survivors were not disaggregated by genr, and some studi did not report the genr posn. Although some mental health and psychosocial nsequenc of sexual vlence agast men and boys may be siar among male and female survivors, the way each procs trma, display symptoms, seek help, adhere to treatment and improve their mental health differ by genr. Iniativ targetg male and LGBT survivors of CRSV need to be signed to actively addrs specific genr differenc accs, adherence and rponse to MHPSS terventns.
