In those days the Gay Village was vibrant wh sexual energy and had an edge that was excg. Montreal's Gay Village has been rced to a play ground for straights, twks and girls.

It seems that Montreal's Gay Village will share the same fate as other ci North Ameri, where they have ma Masculy out of style thereby removg the generatg force that fueled this once vibrant and edgy place to be. No the kd of thg you see other ci and siar gay villag. One vis to the gay village and was a plete turn off.

I'm no snob, but this Gay Village is cheap and lacks a lot and I mean a lot of class. Montreal has a lot more to offer - fet the gay village is not worth the money.

That’s where many gay-owned bs moved to the 1980s and 90s to fd a place where they uld have their own muny. The first openly gay tablishment Montreal dated all the way back to 1869.

This is the sadst, most prsg gay neighborhood I’ve ever been to.

There’s very few gay people actually even there. If you vis, prepare for a vibe that mix a bland Queens neighborhood, loads of low e hog projects, and homels dg addicts everywhere, wh a few gay tourists on weekends.
