In my extensive readg and rearch on the breed before brg home a BC pup, I learned and me to regnize that a low set tail or at least a tail held low when workg is sired a workg/herdg dog, as a high set or "gay" tail dit that the dog is eher not focg on his charg or on his job. I unrstand that ed to be nsired a flt, and pots were taken off when petg trials for a gay tail - I'm not sure if that's still effect but I fd tertg.
I'm not sure whether a gay tail is simply seen all pups their immatury and playfulns or whether 's a ht of a not-so-great workg abily(I've never traed a sheepdog), as Quynn lov to show off his tail(I have no problem wh - In fact, I love 's adorable) and flail as high as he n possibly reach, and curl over his back. All my lli seem to have gay tails when playg or goong around, but as soon as they are set to work their tail drops pletely.
