Gregg worked closely wh the Gay and Lbian Task Force of the Amerin Library Associatn and librarians and archivists om around the globe velopg The Internatnal Ths of Gay and Lbian Inx Terms that would tablish bt practic for the scriptn of LGBTQ materials llectns. Durg this time, the Canadian Gay Archiv (now the Arquiv) published a manual for velopg llectns tled Organizg an Archiv: The Canadian Gay Archiv Experience.
Gerber/Hart’s October of 1985 Newsletter announced the formatn of the Internatnal Lbian and Gay Archiv and Librari (IALGAL) formed at the Internatnal Gay and Lbian History Conference at the Universy of Toronto earlier that year.
The ONE LGBTQ Rearch Fellowship supported a trip to the wt ast that allowed me to vis the extensive llectns of ONE Archiv at the USC Librari, and to ordate the trip wh the Commtee on Lbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgenr History’s first Queer History Conference and a rearch vis to the GLBT Historil Society San Francis. The llectns of the Internatnal Gay and Lbian Archiv, and the Amerin Library Associatn Task Force and Social Rponsibili Round Table Collectns helped to fill the gaps om Gregg’s papers, but the IALGAL remaed an elive topic.
